How to reset the Dentrix Chart Toolbar

If you suddenly find the Chart module in Dentrix all messed up or not looking like it should, there is a way to reset it to the system default settings using the steps below.

1. Make sure the Chart module is closed
2. Open File Explorer by clicking on the Start Menu and typing 'File Explorer' in the search bar and clicking on File Explorer
3. In the Address Bar type '%appdata%' (without quotes) and hit Enter
4. Double-click the Dentrix folder to open it
5. Double-click the CUST folder to open it
6. Right-click on the 'Chart.Startup' file and select Rename
7. Add OLD to the end of the filename so it reads 'Chart.StartupOLD' (without quotes) and hit Enter
8. Click Yes on the error message window to change the name
9. Open the Chart module

The menu layout should be back to factory default.
